Congratulations to centre facilitator Mary McCormack
for winning the Connect NB "Employee of the Year" award
that was presented at the Community Access Centre Annual
Conference in Moncton on May 26, 2007. Mary has been with the CAC Program for over ten years. She, along
with the South West Miramichi Community Access Centre,
also won the "Community Access Centre Of The Year
Award" in 2004.

A new Expanded Version of the Community Veteran's Book,
entitled "Remembering Our Veterans", has been
created at our centre. The 426 page book is $35 and
is available now for purchase at the centre, located
at 12 MacLaggan Drive. Please call 506-843-2939 for
more information. Special thanks to all of the volunteers
who made this book possible: Aubrey Buggie, Ella Curtis,
Joyce Fortune, Shirley Kennedy, Caitlin Mahoney, Mary
McCormack, Leslie McLaughlin, Ellen Walls and Ted Walls.
We also want to thank Marilyn Wilson and the excellent
staff at Kwik Kopy Fredericton for the wonderful job
they did printing and binding the books. Finally, a
big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who submitted photos
and stories for the book, and to everyone that purchased
a copy.
