Training is done by staff and volunteers, or sometimes professionals who are contracted to provide specific services, their wages coming from course registration fees. Staff and volunteers are offered instruction in a "Train the Trainer" format by Connect NB Branché.
The heart of te Access Centre is made up of community volunteers. They comprise the steering committee that directs and operates the Centre. Their intimate knowledge of the community's strengths and needs allows each centre to fulfill the common mandate of providing all citizens of New Brunswick access to the world of opportunities that exist through these new technologies.
